The report below is from Ambergris Today about the murder of Gregory Faull.
Island residents were shocked to hear about a murder on Northern Ambergris Caye on Sunday, November 11, 2012. An American male was found murdered at his home and the talk around town was that it was not a robbery.
An official Police report stated that on Sunday, November 11, 2012, at 8:00am, acting upon information received, San Pedro Police visited 5 ¾ miles North of San Pedro Town where they found the body of a male person lying face up in a pool of blood with an apparent gunshot wound to the upper rear part of his head, presumably dead. The man was identified to be that of 52-year-old, Gregory Viant Faull.
The report revealed that on Sunday, November 11, 2012, at 7:20am Laura Tun, 39-year-old, Belizean housekeeper of Boca Del Rio Area, San Pedro Town, went to the house of Mr. Faull to do her daily chores when she saw him laying inside of the hall motionless. Faull was last seen alive around 10:00pm on Saturday, November 10, 2012.
Faull lived alone and there were no signs of forced entry. There were two missing objects in the house, one laptop computer brand and serial number unknown and one iPhone. The body of Mr. Faull was found in the hall of the upper flat of the house. A single luger brand 9 mm expended shell was found on the first stairs leading up to the upper flat of the building. The body of Gregory Faull was taken to KHMH Morgue where it awaits a post mortem examination.
Police have not established a motive, but said they are following several leads.
